Yoga found me at a time when it was most helpful for me both on and off the mat and has transformed my life in ways I did not know were possible. I am stronger in both body and mind and face each day with a sense of awareness and mindfulness as I bring my yoga, bit by bit, into all that I do.
My greatest teacher and inspiration in my life is my son. I may not have found my path had he not arrived to give me direction. I am deeply inspired by my teacher Beth Rutty, who opened my eyes and my heart to Anusara yoga. Also, Sue Elkind, Naime Jezzeny, Douglas Brooks and Anna Verwaal, all who I happened upon by chance and have changed my life in amazing ways, and Clayton and Shanine who gave me a place to unfold my wings.
I have the wonderful opportunity to teach level 1-2 hot flow and to practice my yoga off the mat as a birth doula.

A series of poses linked together with your breath. This class is faster paced than the intro to hot yoga classes and is practiced in the hot room with the heat reduced for comfort. The teacher prepares a unique yoga class so every class is different as you train the body in new ways and learn new aspects about yourself.
A great way to unwind as you practice by candlelight. The style and pace of the class is determined by the teacher.
Never practiced yoga before? This 4 week workshop series is designed specifically for the absolute beginner or anyone wanting a step-by-step review of the basics! In just 4 short weeks, you will walk away with a strong foundation in the fundamentals of yoga, breathing, and alignment in yoga poses.
We will meet once a week for 1.5 hours for 4 weeks.
Upon completion you will have enough knowledge to be comfortable walking into drop-in Level 1 or Level 1-2 yoga classes. You will also receive gifts to help you on your yoga journey!
